This follows the Wales Coast Path from Machynlleth up to Cwn Rhonwydd Starting off with a long steep climb to Bron yr Aur giving a lovely view of the River and Dyfi Valley then through forestry and a long descent to the village of Pennal and then through Plas Talgarth, up via Llyn Barfog (the Bearded Lake) and Echo Point. The last 3 miles is a ridge walk with the Dyfi Estuary and Cardigan Bay on one side and Happy Valley on the other giving the most spectacular views before you descend into the picturesque town of Aberdyfi and the interesting train ride back to Barmouth.
